UCC28051: Operate without ZCD winding?

Hello,

The UCC28051 was designed to use a ZCD winding off the boost inductor. However, if you want to design a transition mode PFC that does not require and aux winding, I would suggest the UCC28056. You can find the UCC28056 data sheet at the following link.
