LM74502: Use for inverting buck boost converter

Hello team,

I want to use this device for inverting buck-boost converter using buck converter configuration. (+15V -> -15V)

IBB with buck converter will output positive voltage to the load at the start up, and I can't accept any positive voltage for the load.

I am thinking of using LM74502 for this configuration.

I think just connect the VIN and VOUT backward will work, am I correct?

    Hi Kei,

    LM74502 is not designed to work for switching applications like inverting buck boost converter. Also, LM74502 device will not work for negative voltages. 

    Hence, this device is not suitable to be used for inverting buck-boost converter.
