BqEVSW dataflash reading error

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQ30Z55, BQEVSW, EV2400

Hello,

I'm trying to change some voltage setting of a bq30z55.

I use EV2400 with BqEVSW v0.9.92, it connects with the chip fine, SBS page reads well, unseal and fully access.

But when I go to Data flash page, click "read all'', then a popup window said communication error, code=5. The lower left said VB_WRONG_NUM_BYTES.

So, I can't "write all" because the software said last read had error, writing abort.

Is there any other way to change number in data flash? I tried export the .gg file but the reading error also prevent import and write it.

Thank you!

  • What is the exact version of your gauge? Does EVSW detect it correctly or does it throw a warning? There are many different versions of the gauge and a mismatch between gauge version and EVSW version can cause this error.
