Hello,

I'm trying to change some voltage setting of a bq30z55.

I use EV2400 with BqEVSW v0.9.92, it connects with the chip fine, SBS page reads well, unseal and fully access.

But when I go to Data flash page, click "read all'', then a popup window said communication error, code=5. The lower left said VB_WRONG_NUM_BYTES.

So, I can't "write all" because the software said last read had error, writing abort.  

Is there any other way to change number in data flash? I tried export the .gg file but the reading error also prevent import and write it.

    What is the exact version of your gauge? Does EVSW detect it correctly or does it throw a warning? There are many different versions of the gauge and a mismatch between gauge version and EVSW version can cause this error.
