Qmax does not require frequent updates during battery life.


1、What is the basis for Qmax not being updated frequently?

2、How long can I allow Qmax to not update?

3、At what % of battery aging can Qmax not be updated and can ensure FCC matched batteries?

    #1: The basis is the slow change in Qmax for a typical LiIon cell.

    #2: This depends on the cycle count and temperature and cell chemistry. Please check with your cell manufacturer how fast they expect the cell to age. You should let the gauge update Qmax when Qmax changes by more than your accuracy requirement (I emailed an example how Qmax impacts FCC via email so that you can make this choice).
