TPS65988: [Urgent!!!] TPS65988DH EVM GUI issue in debug mode

Hi Team,

I'm testing TPS65988EVM with FTDI on board and I follow up user guide below:

Switch S3 is default setting
GUI: 6.1.4
FW: f707.10.10
Sweep I2C is correct
Test I2C address is correct
It also can flash from project successfully
The debug mode can also shows connected

But! All the registers showed Uninitialized!

I also tried use Aardvark tool with EVM board and customer's board, result are the same! All the connect and flash is correct, but the register in debug mode shows Uninitialized!

Then I tried Dell GUI 6.6.4 with below setting, you can see the debug mode is correct and I can see the register values.

This is very urgent and customer called me several times every day!

If I understand correctly, when you try to enter Debug mode using the 6.1.4 GUI, debug mode does not work, while the same feature in the 6.6.4 GUI works as expected?

Are you flashing the 988EVM only using the 6.1.4 GUI?

The Firmware version should only matter when flashing the device from the GUI and should not affect debug mode. When you read the FW version in the Adapter -> USB to I2C/SPI settings, it should be the same between the two GUIs if you only flashed the EVM using the 6.1.4 GUI.
