LP8866S-Q1: Earlier discharge duration

Hi team,

In datasheet 7.3.6.5 Boost Output Discharge, it is described discharge duration is 400ms.

If customer power off early, e.g. Vin off after 150ms from EN = low, is there possibility of IC broken?

Also if there is something affect to peripheral parts like capacitor, please tell me.

VIN has no influence for this part, and pls make sure that VDD is high during the discharge function.

Thank you. How about VDD off after 150ms from EN = low. Even that situation, is it no problem?

Hi Youhei

We recommend to off the VDD after discharge finished. 400ms is recommended.
