TPS2116: Behavior when MODE = 1, but both VIN1 and VIN2 less than 1.6V

Part Number: TPS2116
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS2117

Hi,

I'm using the manual mode with this chip, that both MODE and PRI1 are toggled by GPIOs. And I have several questions:

  1. May the IO signal level higher than both VIN1 and VIN2?
  2. I'm considering below conditions, which are not shown in the truth table. What's the VOUT in these situations?
    1. MODE = 1, PR1 = 1, VIN1 < 1.6V
    2. MODE = 1, PR1 = 0, VIN2 < 1.6V

 Thanks.
