Hi Team，

I follow EVM guide but BQ25910 cannot work.I download Bqstudio test version from website and choose bq25910EVM.bqz but bq25919 tab is blank, is it the wrong software or .bqz？ where can I down load Bqstudio stable version？Thanks

HI Given,

Unfortunately, that GUI stopped working correctly after BQSTUDIO was updated a few years back. You will need to use 2 separate BQZ's, one for the BQ2589x device and another for BQ25910. Try this one for BQ25910:

Charger_1_00-bq25910.bqz

I recall that one of the bits is reversed, for example the GUI may say that charge is enabled when its not. I do not have a BQ25910EVM at the moment or I would test for you. I will order an EVM but it will be a few days before I get it. Let me know if this works.

Hi Jeff,

I use BQ2591evm. bqz to make 25989D into HIZ first following EVM guide, then use bq25910.bqz to set BQ25910, but still no current. Thanks.

Hello Given,

Your register readout indicates the input is not a good power source, and your EN_CHG bit is 0. After you write the charge current, enable charge, and connect the adapter to VBUS, please read the registers and share a screenshot to verify the adapter is a good source and you can see charge current.

please kindly see below. after power good and enable charge, we still not see charge current. Vin=9V, Vbat=3.8V.

Hello Given,

It looks like the charger detected termination, can you share the VBAT voltage waveform when you enable charge?

Do you have significant line resistance which would cause early termination?
