BQ35100EVM-795: BQ35100EVM correct voltage reading in open circuit, but NOT correct when current is flowing

Part Number: BQ35100EVM-795
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQ35100

Hello,

I've calibrated the bq35100 in open circuit, and the voltage reading is correct (matches measured) when in open circuit. I've also calibrated the other items:

votage:
cc offset
board offset
current
temperature

When I put a load on the device (pack+/bat+ to pack-), the current measurement is CORRECT also, BUT The voltage appears off the measured bat+ bat- (just have a multimeter hooked up at those points)

With a power supply hooked up to bat+/bat- in place of a battery here is the readout:

With load present:

             Probed value                BQ35100
Voltage   2735mV                              2393mV
Current   282mA                         -282mA                       (note the sign)

the 300mV+ difference looks suspect. Is this correct? Would it read correct with a real battery in place of the power supply?

Best,

Craig
