Tool/software:
Hello Ti Team,
Actually my application is two switch forward converter with secondary side synchronous rectification.
First option:
Do we have any single TI controller which can drive four MOSFETS with synchronous rectification. Also the controller to be automotive qualified-AEC-Q.
Second option:
Also you can Propose the AEC-Q Ti controller-1 which can drive the Primary side two MOSFETS and controller-2 which can drive synchronous two MOSFETS on secondary side (for secondary side synchronous rectification )as shown in the picture below,
Please check and suggesgt the recommended TI controller .
Thanks,
Karthik.
Hello,
TI does not have a single controller for driving a two switch forwarded with SRs.
The UCC28C42-Q1 is a popular device for two switch forward converters. You can use a gate drive transform for the high side FET and another one for the SR FETs. A cheaper option on the SRs would be to make them self driven off the secondary.
The following link will get you to the family of UCC28C4x-Q1 controllers that can be used for this application.

If you have any further questions on how to use the ucc28c4x devices in this application. Please repost in the e2e with ucc28c4x in the title so the appropriate applications engineer can answer your questions.
Regards,
Mike
