The datasheet states "Withstands surge of 6 kV (IEC 61000-4-5) with minimal external component count." Is there any reference information for obtaining IEC 61000-4-5? Examples of demonstration experiments such as lightning tests/impulse tests and circuit configurations.

Q2.
Can you explain in detail the mechanism by which the coil becomes smaller using AEF?

Q3.
I'm worried that external noise will damage the IC. Is there any information on external noise immunity?

1. You can refer to the following short video on IEC61000-4-5 - Demystifying Surge Protection: IEC 61000-4-5 Standard (youtube.com). The datasheet of TPSF12C1 have some of the surge test results on page 19 (https://www.ti.com/lit/ds/symlink/tpsf12c1-q1.pdf?ts=1717393882548&ref_url=https%253A%252F%252Fwww.ti.com%252Fproduct%252FTPSF12C1-Q1)

2. Also could you please refer to page 10 in the datasheet - It explains the capacitive amplification mechanism through which coil size could be reduced in Active EMI filter.

3. For the applications we worked with this device, the external noise was not a concern. Could you let us know what noise levels are you talking about when you say external noise?
