TPS92520-Q1: DaisyChain Frame Data Request

Part Number: TPS92520-Q1

Tool/software:

hello
We are currently using the TPS92520 SPI Single Frame method.
As the number of ICs increases, the DaisyChain method is being reviewed.

The TPS92520 DataSheet says that SPI DaisyChain is possible.
However, there is no description of DaisyChain Frame in DataSheet or Application Note.
Is it correct to support the DaisyChain method?

Please let us know about DaisyChain Frame.
(It would be nice to have an example as well.)

thank you

  • Yes, it supports daisy chain. Please refer to 7.5.6 SPI for Multiple Slave Devices in Daisy Chain Configuration in datasheet for details.

2 TPS92520 as example, For example, you may send out 2x16 bit during SSN low. device 2 will receive the first 16bit and device 1 will receive the latest 16bit on the rising edge of SSN and decode them accordingly.
