BQ24725A: ILIM Pin

Tool/software:

Hi Christian, 

Is it optional to use the ILIM pin as an input comes form from MCU which in turn : 

1. Drive it to GND in order to cut off charging. 

2. Release it to H-Z to let the resistors voltage divider on the ILIM pin to set the voltage on ILIM for the willing current limit and that way to enable back the charging. 

If I do that, then what will be the output on the phase pin and on the HIDRV/LODRV when ILIM is short to GND?

    Yes, This should work.

    These pins will be 0V.
