Our current project involves the development of a 300W DC-DC power supply. We will be grateful to get some suggestions from you regarding some potential Analog controllers, that will be best suited for this application.

Topology are also not finalized looking LLC and PSFB, other than this any other suitable topologies are there?

Hello,

For 95% efficiency and 300 W the LLC using the UCC25660x would be the most economical solution to meet your design requirements.

This is due to the ZVS on the primary and ZCS/near ZCS on the secondary of the converter.

I apologize for the oversight, I missed to mention that this is intended for automotive applications.
Is UCC25660x compactable for automotive applications?

One more clarification for 150W application which topology will be more suitable? can I use flyback for the same input and output voltage ratings as mentioned above?

Hello,

When do you need an automotive version LLC controller? Can you share the application so we can understand why an automotive version is needed?

for 150W application, you can use flyback, but the efficiency may not be as high as 95%. We'd still recommend LLC topology.

Hi

We are working on the design and development of Back-up Standy power supply for powering OBC(onboard charger) and the DC-DC converter module in the Vehicle.

There are 2 different power ratings, 150W afor DC-DC and 300W for OBC.

Looking for the best controller for the above application.

I would like to know the possible drawbacks of flyback when we are using it for 150W.

You won't be able to reach 95% efficiency with flyback. That's the main drawback of this topology. Another limitation is the switching frequency. Flyback typically operates at 100-200kHz where LLC could operate at 300-400kHz to reduce the total solution size.
