LP5862: II2C doesn't work

Hi,

I am using the LP5862 in the following circuit:

I try sending the I2C message 0x43 and try writing 0x00, but no acknowledge bit comes across as the address byte is sent.

The IC is on, since VCAP pin has a voltage of 1.78V.

I tries sending exactly the same message on the evaluation board of LP5860, and the acknowledge was successful as seen bellow:

Any suggestions?

Hi Ehsan,

Could you please tell me why the chip address setting is 0x43? Because I noticed that the ADDR0 and ADDR1 pin are connected to GND. I think the reason could be that you send the wrong chip address.

Hi Jared,

Take a look at this table from the datasheet:

I can theoretically address the chip by sending 1000011 = 0x43

This is by the way exactly what the Eval Board sends and receives am acknowledge. Please take a look at the image above with the signals.
