BQ79616EVM-021: i have received no reply from the board via uart, communicating directly from the mcu with bq79616

Tool/software:

I'm trying to communicate with the BQ79616 board with the TMS320F280039C MCU directly via UART, I'm using a baud rate of 1Mbsp, I send the wakeup the led turns on then I try to make a reading and I get no response on the TX.

I only have J2 shunted, I would like to know if there is any configuration that needs to be done to be able to communicate with the board.

Are you trying to communicate with a device in a stack or just a single device directly connected to the MCU?

For jumper positions, try shorting J2, J21, J18, J6 and J5.

Hello Zachary,

If I shunt these pins, I can't even wake up the device, but if I remove the shunt from jumper 21, I can wake up the device, but I still can't communicate with the BQ79616, i.e. I send it a read request and get no reply.
