  • Hello,
Please navigate to https://www.ti.com/tool/download/BQ-BMS-PROGRAMMER-SW  and flash the gauge with this srec and place the BQZ file provided under "C:\ti\BatteryManagementStudio\config"

You can open any target BQZ that is I2C based and flash the provided srec.

Click on gauge -> double click on BQ27z561 (I2C gauge) -> once bqStudio launches, open program tab and browse to the downloaded srec -> wait until programming is complete -> close bqStudio -> place the BQ27z558 BQZ under the correct folder -> relaunch bqStudio.

  • I am currently trying this using the EV2400.
However, I am getting the following error message.

Do I need to use EV2300-084 to execute these?
    Can't I execute them on the EV2400?

  • Hello,
Apologies, I just realized I provided the wrong link.

Can you try opening bqStudio while having the gauge connected? What device number do you see here? I can provide the BQZ you need.
