TPS2660: TPS26601 OVP & UVLO FAULT TRIGGERING NOT FUCNTIONING IN STARTUP BEHAVIOUR PSPICE SIMULATION

Tool/software:

I tried simulating TPS26601 Transient Model in Start Up state. I see difference in behavior of simulation output vs calculated results.

Calculated Values of R1,R2, & R3 for OVP & UVLO fault as per TI Spreadsheet calculator as below,

I used the same recommended values of R1,R2 &R3 in pspice simulation shown below,

As per calculated threshold limits shown in above spreadsheet calculation, Fault is not triggering at 3.4%.

Simulation observation :

UVLO Fault triggering at 44.71V

OVP Fault triggering at 48.8V

Could you please clarify it & pspice model i download is write access denied - it could be problem in getting wrong outputs?

Yes i am using Pspice for TI.

I believe it is not unencrypted. I have downloaded the model from product page of that part number.

I am also getting similar results with simulations.

It will be accurate to check on TPS26600-02EVM which is available on ti.com.

Hi Amrit,

Can we get the correct model as soon as possible.

Need a confirmation that this device supports & works for the designed UVLO,OVP values as shown below, Could please confirm it?

Nom : 48V

UVLO : 46V

OVP : 50V

We are trying to get TPS26600-02EVM to check.

Yes, it can work in the condition.

You can check it on EVM by changing the R1,R2, R3 values.
