I did not see your previous conversation.

However, your current sense gain would be set by R10/R13 ratio (or R12/R14).

Assuming a 6mOhm sense resistor and a 0.8V reference voltage, you should get about 4.2A of current.

Am I correct in saying that this type of configuration is a type II control loop? I want to make sure that the op amp itself does not become saturated through the range I am hoping to implement namely 3 to 7 A.

As long as the 0.8V reference voltage is within the range of your op-amp.  Then it should 

be OK.  It would depend on the op-amp supply.  

When the voltage loop is working, then the output of the op-amp would be low.

I don't think it would saturate since you have local feedback.

The voltage op-amp would saturate when the current loop takes over.
