Regarding the Reply to this question, Can I get clarification, I would have thought the gain would be controlled by the ratio of R19 and R12, R8 is a set point for the CV amplifier, but would it also determine the gain on the CC amplifer?

Hello

I did not see your previous conversation.

However, your current sense gain would be set by R10/R13 ratio (or R12/R14).

Assuming a 6mOhm sense resistor and a 0.8V reference voltage, you should get about 4.2A of current.

Am I correct in saying that this type of configuration is a type II control loop? I want to make sure that the op amp itself does not become saturated through the range I am hoping to implement namely 3 to 7 A.
