Tool/software:
Hi team,
I am looking for a design solution for DC- DC buck regulation 24V to 12V converter in one of our Automotive projects.
The input voltage range: 5V to 48V.
The nominal input voltage :24V.
The output voltage: 12V
The Continuous load current: 20A.
The peak load current: 25A
could you kindly suggest design solution for DC DC Buck converter.
Thanks,
jayanthi.
Hi Jayanthi,
Please use the LM5145 quickstart calculator to assist with component selection https://www.ti.com/tool/LM5145DESIGN-CALC.
Note the LM5145 EVM is 5V/20A/225kHz using 80V FETs. However, you can likely use 60V FETs here given Vin-max = 48V. Also, take a look at the apps examples in the LM5145 and LM5146 data sheets.
Regards,
Tim
Here is a quickstart file as a starting point for this design (using 60V NexFETs).
Hi team,
Thank you for reply, Please let me know if you can review our schematic for LM5145-Q1. I will provide schematic mail.
I just send you a friend invite where we can share ours emails for offline correspondence.
