BQ27742-G1: Use of communication current limiting resistors

We use the BQ27742-G1 chip, and the schematic diagram is shown below. When testing the ESD of the whole machine by the end customer, there is a communication abnormality. May I ask what is the maximum resistance that can be used for these resistors?
At present, testing has found that there is no problem with 510 Ω. Can it be used?

We used a series connection of 2 100 Ω resistors and added ESD diodes

    Hello, 

    I do not believe we have this spec'd, although I would recommend using what we recommend in the datasheet. Another thing you can add to your design to improve ESD performance is spark gaps.
