Tool/software:
Good day, colleagues,
To activate the dithering, the pin shall be connected to GND.
In the Datasheed I have seen, that the device has schmidt trigger for the activation and deactivation:
The question is:
How great is the input current of this pin, or the equivalent circuit diagram of this input?
In customers application they have the pin is connected with a pulldown to GND and not directly like recommended.
In general they need to know, if there is a minimum resistance to GND needed (and the value) to ensure the activation of the dithering.
Thank you,
Daria
Hi Daria,
We do not specify the input current to this pin. However, as it is a input to a comparator, the current flowing into this pin is very low.
So a pulldown resistor can be used and the activation can be done using a microcontroller for example.
Best regards
Moritz
