As far as LDO, the max current we can go to is 7.5A but it is at a low voltage range. Currently we don't have regulator that can work both at that high Vin and Iout conditions you are asking for.

As far as LDO, we currently don't have a device that with customer current limit programmable feature. You can  ask swich regulator group to see what options they have.

Thank you for your support. My application is, voltage variable from 11V to 20V with current limit variable from 0.1A to 1Amp. I will google for switching regulators.
