[bq24168] changing the charging temperature threshold

Hello~

As we know very well, BQ24168 is able to support JEITA.

But, in some cases, we just should be charging the battery between 0'C to 45'C temperature range, regardless of JEITA standard.

So I think as below.

1. RHOT is setting to value of NTC resistance at 45'C.

2. Change the constant for VHOT from 0.30 to a different value.

If my estimate is correct, would you please let me know the constant for 45'C VHOT.

RHOT is the thermistor resistance at the temperature that you define as HOT.

Do you mean that;

In order to charge between 0'C and 45'C, it is just enough to change the RHOT value.

And, it is not need to change the 0.30 constant in the formula of "VHOT = 0.30 × VDRV".

Is that correct??

The 0.3 constant is fixed. The only thing you can change is RHOT.

Please note that the WARM value will move as well.
