Hi Sir,

I am designing a battery management system. I am planting to use bq77910A as a sub module controller.  A simple micro-controller will be used to monitor the state of bq77910A. When I am study the datasheet and EVM board, I had found that there are no command for state monitoring. The only way to check the state of bq77910A is monitoring the DSG and CHG pin. But the host controller cannot find the exactly error when protection is activated. 

My question is that is there any  method to know the state of the bq77910A or is there any other IC can be used.

By the way, I want to use 20-25 bq77910A + external MCU  to manage 200+ cells. Does bq77910A suitable for this kind of application.
