Voltage drop problem of PTN04050C+BQ24072T?

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQ24072T, PTN04050C

Dear Friends,

I design a Li-ion battery powered device, which works with 5.0 V and requires 2.0A. So I use PTN04050C to converter battery source, which is 4.2V, to a 5.0V power supply, in addition, I also use a battery charger chip, BQ24072T,  to charge the Li-ion battery. When I apply this power source to my device, it doesn't work.   I used a scope to check the signal quality, I found the answer to my problem, which is duo to the seriously voltage drop.  This situation lead to the BQ24072T turn off the Vout. So I want to know how to solve this problem. How to reduce the voltage drop when the device power on which needs a 5V and 2.0A power source?  Thank you.

Sunglin.
