LM5005 softstart

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LM5005

We use the LM5005 as an internal power supply +24V for a high voltage generation module.

Now in the series we have problems because the 24V supply not starts by applying the outer voltage. The reason is, the soft start not works properly. How described in the application we put a 10nF capacitor at the SD input. In some case this value seems to be too low. So the device not starts. If we put an additional 4n7F capacitor in parallel, the device starts every time.

But now we are not sure if this is the case under all operating conditions. Is there concrete definition or a formula for the value of this capacitor ? Is 10nF the minimum allowed value ?
