TPS2557 / ILIM-port circuit

Hi all,

Please let me know about internal circuit of TPS2557-port.
This device is limits the output current by external resistor.
Internal circuit of ILIM-port is constant current source?

The ILIM programming resistor sets up an internal current reference for which the power channel current mirrors. The pass FET is fully enhanced when the channel current is below the programmed value but then goes into a linear "foldback" mode as the current reaches the programmed threshold. You can see the foldback by observing the falling nature of the OUT pin as the load is increased above the current limit.
