My customer is currently in use TPS54550, I have gotten a question about this product .

So , I have a question about TPS54550.

＜Question＞

Q1：Does this device will be able to use the Switching Frequency at 500kHz?

Q2：And , do you why that can be used the case of a Yes?

Because…

Download the Switcher Pro, was to operate the TPS54550 under the following conditions ,

the setting of "Switching Frequency" had become a 500KHz (RT = OPEN).

Use of the data sheet p13 Fig8 ~ 11 "Switching Frequency" in 500KHz is assumed to NG , but in this software you receive so no problem .

< Condition >

VIN: 11.64V ~ 12.36V

VOUT: 1.375V

IOUT: 5.0A

    That set of inputs is not valid for reliable 500 kHz operation due to minimum on time constraints.  It looks like Switcherpro does not check for it.  Switcherpro is legacy software and no longer directly supported.
