bq24072T - Behavior of safety timers when in battery supplement mode?

Hello,

With bq24072T, when charging the battery and the system load exceeds the input current limit (putting the device into battery supplement mode), what happens to the safety timers?

Are they suspended until battery current goes positive again (charging), and resume counting, scaled as described in section 9.3.9 of the datasheet if still below the I_CHG setting? Or do the timers reset and start over?
