BQ24031: current consumption when powered from battery input

Part Number: BQ24031

Dear all,

I am using the BQ24031  in one of our designs and we have requirements that force us to keep current consumption of the product beneath a certain level.

Now while powered from battery this means 1.5mA for the whole system and according to the datasheet of BQ24031 typical current drawn is 1ma but can be up to 2mA.

My question is if there is a way to get the current drawn from BAT input to less than 1mA while neither USB or AC power is present?

ICC(BAT_STBY) is 45 to 60uA but this is if AC power or USB power is present.

thank you in advance
