TLV62095EVM-840: How to improve efficiency?

Hi Support,

We have tested the TLV62095EVM-840 EVB, we change R1 from 200k to 82k ohm for 1.2V output.

Blue marker is our measurement result with 3.3V input, turns out we found that our result do not align with the red line shown in the datasheet, efficiency is around 8% lower at the our target loading (3A),

Could you advice if there are any way to further improve the efficiency?

For this device, the EVM and the D/S should give the same efficiency since they use the same circuit. Therefore, it is very likely that a measurement error has been made.

I suggest checking the test setup to make sure it matches figure 5 in this app note: www.ti.com/.../slva236.pdf Measure Vin and Vout at the S+/S- pins and place the current meters correctly relative to the voltage meters.
