I am looking to see if anyone has used an OMAP3530 without coupling it to a TPS65690. I realize this is a more challenging design, but would be interested to discuss this

path.

There is an application note available that details how to power the OMAP35x using the TPS65073.

If SYS_OFF mode is required TPS65073 should be used. If you do not need SYS_OFF mode the TPS650731 can be used.

The application note shows how to connect the TPS65073x with OMPA35x and gives detailed information on power requirements.
