Dear Texas Instruments,
i am designing my switch mode power supply and intend to use the UC3842, however i need some assistance with the part numbers or values for the components i have highlighted in the attached schematic i extracted from the TI datasheet for UC3842 typical application example.
Thank you

Thanks for your interest in TI.
What is your input voltage range, output voltage, and output current maximum?
You can also search for reference designs at Ti.com/powerlab in the meantime. Or you can use the Webench tool at TI.com/Webench
Or the Webench tool specific to uc3842 here:
Additionally I will also mention ucc38c42 is the newest version of the 3842 family.

John
Kawesa,
Yes those specifications should work fine for UCC38C42. The quickest path for a schematic would be webench. Let me know if you have other questions but I'll assume you are all set at this point.
Regards,
John
