η=0.59/0.825 = 71%

Why is efficiency so low?

Hello Allan,

It can depends a lot on the external components as well. Could you provide a BOM? Is R42 in the schematic the right value? It doesn't look right for 100mA.

Please see the above text description, 100mA > 2ohm, the customer now has 2ohm on my suggestion

I understand. Do you have a datasheet for the inductor you are using? If it has a high ESR it could affect the efficiency significantly.
