TL750M: Input Capacitance Value

Hi team,

My customer uses TL750M08CKVURG3 and asked me below questions.

If you have any comment or advice, please let me know.

Could you please provide recommended effective input capacitance value for TL750M08?
Currently I will recommend > 0.1uF ceramic capacitor.
Is this all right?
Is it possible to share input capacitor of TL750M08 with another LDO(NJM7805DL1A)?

Hi Shota,

Input capacitor affects the transient performance of the linear regulator. Datasheet electrical characteristics were measured with a 0.1 uF input capacitor. I would recommend 0.1 uF minimum and 1 uF typical. A larger value can also be used.

If the TL750M08 and NJM7805DL1A are close together on the board, the input capacitor can be shared. Try to place the input capacitor within 1 cm of the TL750M08 Input pin.
