TPS68470: TPS68470 required HDI board? What is the advantage for using S_VSYNC

Customer raised the questions below:

  1. Could we use the TPS68470 in Non-HDI board? Is any impact?
  2. What is advantage for MIPI camera if we use v-sync feature?

    Hello Randy,

    If all the functionality of the TPS68470 is used, it may not be possible to route it in a non-HDI board. But if some functions are unused and left floating, it could be possible to route on non-HDI board.

    For your camera question, you may want to have the customer ask Intel about advantages of the MIPI interface with VSYNC.
