TL317: Pinout compatible replacement part

Hi,

I wish to replace the TL317 with a pinout compatible part in my design. I am using the TSSOP (PW) package.

Initially, I had a requirement that the input voltage can be >10V, but this is no longer true. My Vout is 2.6V but my Iout_max has now increased to 200mA

Can someone suggest a compatible part with the same pinout ? This way, I don't have to make a new PCB.

    Hi Tuck,

    Thank you for sending this request.

    I know you had initially said that your input voltage can be >10V but it is no longer true. What is your input voltage now?

    For now I can recommend the TPS72 which goes up to 250mA or TPS71 which goes up to 500mA. These both have a max input voltage of 10V.

    Many thanks for your help. The input voltage now is between 4.5V and 10V

    I am looking for a TSSOP part that is pin compatible with the TL317 (8 pin). Both the TPS72 and TPS71 do not meet this criteria.

    I did another search again on all TSSOP LDOs on TI's website, but did not find anything that is close to the TL317
