TPS51620: Transient Test , abnormal waveform in the Phase

Hi all,

When test the Transient performance of TPS51620, The output Vcore and Phase looks abnormal.

CH1 is Phase, CH3 is Vcore.

Do you have suggestion to debug it? Any material you want to have ？ Thanks

Hi Cheng,

It almost looks like you're hitting the output with two transients in quick succession but I don't think that's what's happening here. Was this taken with an Intel VRTT? Can you share a capture that's triggering on the load step?

Also, if you can share a schematic and any other observations about the regulators behavior that would be much appreciated.

Thanks Carmen,

That is not used for intel core. It was used for Zhaoxin core. The test was done by the DC eLoad. Do you have any comments on such kind test? such as the slew rate or any setting need to be done during this kind of test?

I am trying to get the sch now.
