Do you have any device for 25W PFC?

 Hello guys,

 One of my customers is looking for any device can be used for 25/ or 35W PFC. Recently it is recommended to implement PFC on lower wattage AC/DC system or adapter. Do you have any device for 25W or 35W PFC?

    Hello Kazuya Nakai,
    You can consider using the UCC28050 series of transition mode pfc controllers or the newer UCC28056 controller for this application.
    Is this an LED lighting application ?

    I asked whether this application is LED lighting to the customer and their answer is Yes. So I recommended TPS92314A. But their comment for TPS92314A was that the count of external parts was large. They are considering using LYT0006D(Power Intgrations).
    Do you have any device which uses even or less parts count than LYT0006D? Or do you have any devlopment plan of such device?

    Hello Kazuya Nakai,
    The LYT0006D is a high voltage integrated switcher that as far as I know is not capable of supplying 35W of power.
    It probably can be configured as a pfc power supply but it essentially is a buck type power supply.
    The TPS92314 is an LED controller that was designed specifically as a pfc controller with minimal parts count for LED applications. I am not aware of any TI equivalent to the LYT0006D but I think you should open a new post and ask this question .
