Tool/software: TINA-TI or Spice Models
Hello,
I would like you to confirm about below.
* I am tring to simulate positive and negative voltage by using LM4040 TINA-TI model.
Here are simulation result of each model.
I observed expected result in case of Positive constant voltaeg circuit. However, I could NOT observe expected result in case of Negative voltage circuit.
Attached two files TINA simulation model.
Q1. If there is any incorrect portion to simulate negtive rail, could you please let me know.
Q2. Another person try to simulate this by using LT-Spice(use PSPICE model). However, they got same result. So, I suspect simulation model may not be correct.
Could you please confirm simulation model as well ?
Best Regards,
Hello Marcoo-san,
Thank you for your reply and response.
>I will notify my internal team to get it fixed.
I have posted this by using A version, however, other version(from B to E) may have same issue as well. So, please confirm all models.

Hello Marcoo-san,
My customer also wait to be released updated spice model.
When you get target date to release updated spice model, please let me know.

Hello Marcoo-san,
Thank you for your reply.
>Does your customer only need a specific version? If so that could be faster than trying to update all the models.
Customer simulate negative voltage model by using LM4040_ND5P0. So, at first, please update this version.
However, they do not decide which version they actually need, so please update remaining versions later as well.

Hello Marcoo-san,
Could you please confirm status about updated spice model ?
Best Regards,
Hi Ryuuichi,
The 5V models have been updated to reflect the negative voltage fix.
See the models in the link below:
Make sure the models are the ones updated in 2018.
