LM5166: LM5166EVM-C33A compatible with LM5166Y?

Hi team,

I'd like to evaluate LM5166Y (fixed 3.3Vout). Can I use LM5166Y on the LM5166EVM-C33A board? If so, what changes would I have to make to the EVM (besides the removal of the feedback resistors and routing the output to VOUT)? If this is not possible, what is the best way to evaluate LM5166Y?

Hello Brian,

Yes, you can use the LM5166EVM-C33A board to evaluate the LM5166Y. In order to evaluate the fixed output voltage variant, you will need to remove the feedback resistors and replace the RFB1 with a 0-Ohm resistor.
