BQ26100EVM: Why is TI shipping EV2300 in EVAL kits if it is unsupported and obsolete?

I am ordering more and more EVM kits for BQ ICs and they keep coming with EV2300, and I can't use them because i live in 2018 and I use an x64 OS (Windows 10) .

I was about to buy this EVM when I realized it will probably ship with ANOTHER EV2300 that I can't use.

Any one care to offer some insight into this?

Hi Mickey,
unfortunately, You will have to either use a windows lower than 10 or order the ev2400.

Is there any EVM I can order that includes the EV2400 in it? The only reason I don't order the BQ26100EVM is because it includes the EV2300 and I do not need another one of those.

Honestly, If there is no other kit with the EV2400, I would rather try other OEMs and see if they have a more up to date evaluation kits and technologies.

The GDK is the only device that comes with an onboard ev2400
