Dear Sir,
Is there any IC similar to LM5175 where I can control the output voltage from external PWM signal through micro-controller (MSP) . I want to driver 4 MOSFET switches for synchronous buck boost converter.
Ratings are as follows :
Vout - 10 to 30 V
Vin - 5 to 60 V
Iout - 20A
max switching frequency - 100Khz
Hi Hitesh,
Based on the power level of the design I recommend using the LM5176. This is the next generation device after the LM5175.
For any controller with external feedback resistor, the output voltage can be changed by sourcing or sinking current into the FB node. This can be done with a VID control such as the LM10011 or with an external filter and PWM signal as shown below.
Let me know if you have any questions
Thanks,
Garrett
