BQ500211A: Chip can't generate a serial PWM signal

Part Number: BQ500211A

hi:

I design the power transfer circult by the "Typical Low-Cost Application Diagram "circult on the page 20 of the datasheet. But the chip can not work normally.

The pin12,pini13 (DPWM-A,DPWM-B) can't generate a serial wave. It generates a short time PWM wave around every 6 seconds.I can't find the solution of the problem.

regards

  • Junkai,

Due to holidays, our response time is slower than usual. Someone from my team will get back to you shortly.

    thanks!

  • Hello Junkai
It looks like you are seeing an Analog Ping which is a low power pulse intended to detect if an RX is present, short pulse every 5 sec or so.
If the circuit detects an RX it will the send the 50% duty cycle digital ping. Unit is looking for change is amplitude of the Analog Ping of RX detection.

Due to holidays our response time will be slower than usual.
