SG3524: SG3524BN cross reference IC not working

Part Number: SG3524

We are qualifying PWM controller from TI MPN:SG3524N for obsolete part SG3524BN from Microsemi.

Datasheet and technical parameters are matching with older part. However, functionality wise TI SG3524N IC is not working for older part.

Please find attached trade off of these parts. Let me know your inputs on this.

Hi Parimal,

I can see a section of the schematic that contains the controller but I have no information as to what is the problem with using the TI version of the controller ?

Do you have any waveforms or data that describes the issue that you are having with the TI device?
