Hello,

I m using UCC27201 IC in my project, I am not obtaining the output from that IC, I felt may be i am facing the grounding issue. so i got this below mentioned doubt.

my microcontroller takes 9V input and gives 2.5V as output , I am giving 12V as Vdd of UCC27201 IC, can i connect both microcontroller ground and 12V input ground to same ground??

    Hello Divya,

    Thank you for the interest in the UCC27201A. The driver input thresholds are 1.7V rising and 1.6V falling typical from LI and HI to VSS (ground). I do see that the maximum rising threshold is 2.5V however, so I would recommend a slightly higher positive pulse to always guarantee the input will exceed the thresholds will all devices and temperature range.

    The microcontroller generating the driver input signals needs to be referenced to the same ground, or UCC27201A VSS connection, to achieve the expected high and low level signals at the LI and HI driver inputs.
