TPS2543: Over-Current Protection w/o portable device

Hi Team,

If portable device don't connect to TPS2543, Does Over-Current setting(based on CTL1-3, ILIM_SEL and ILIM_LO/HI setting) work well? or it will be 0.5A limitation?

    Hello Kotaro,

    Yes, the overcurrent setting works when no device is connected to the TPS2543. Read through section 8.3.8 within the datasheet and this explains the two different scenarios where an over current event is triggered
