Dear all

I am power system designer for Satellite.

I want to use the TPS54821 for the space.

So I did the TID(Total Ionizing Dose) radiation test.

When over the 12krad, I was failed.

And UVLO voltage was changed from 4V to over 5V.

In the test, we remove the external UVLO setting resistors.

I have a question.

Can I disable the internal UVLO function?

Can you know me why UVLO voltage changed after TID Test?

Hi,

Internal UVLO on VIN pin can't be disabled. The VIN is necessary to make the device working normally.

Could you explain a little bit more on TID test? Is there any possibility that there may be some charge on the pins and changed its parameter?

We do the radiation test by using TPS54821EVM-049.

During the test, the TPS54821 was exposed to radiation over 15krad.

It can make some charge on the pins.

Hi,

I'm sorry but I know little things about the test. I'm not sure our device is rated for the radiation standard.
Before test the UVLO, could you discharge the pins? Especially the EN and VIN? Thanks!
