TPS53219A: application for 26V VDD

Hi,

If in our application, VDD will up to 26V (spec recommend 25V), then:

1. Is 26V okey for VDD? (even the abs. max is 18V)

2. Or can I use LDO for VDD power? Is this any side effect?

VDD recommended max is 25V and abs max is 28V. Looks like your application max is the same as the abs max rating. Is the 28V a dc value that is always at that level. If so the the external LDO approach is good.
